No hot water when Ravenheat 84E? on but hot water when the CH is on?

My Ravenheat 84e/t has stopped giving out hot water. I can only have hot water when the system is fully operational (turned on). No hot water directly from the tap. It has been suggested that the Diverter Valve needs replacing which sounds costly. Any ideas or suggestions!

Try thermistor/sensor.Disconnect wires and test with ohm meter it should be about 14ohms i think

I had this problem it was a rubber seal on one of the valves seal cost £10 and cost £80 to have it replaced

I suggest you listen to the initial suggestion, sounds like the diverter valve.
