HiTammy Jo
If it is a DM4900 or similar model procede as follows:
1. Prise off the carpet control knob
2. Remove the 2 screws recessed adjacent to the rear wheels
3. Lift off the hood
4.Remove the brush cleaner assembly by lifting out vertically
5. Remove the belt from the pulley spindle and then from the brush assembly. Remove the second belt from the motor spindle then the pully
6. Loop the first new belt around the pulley spindle and then arount the motor spindle. loop the second new belt around the brush channel and the around the pulley spindle
7. Hold the brush assembly and stretch the belt until the brush mountings slot down into the cleaner housing
8. Refit the hood ensuring the lugs along the front are located in the slots along the front edge of the baseplate
9. Refit the carpet care control knob ensuring the raised face is towards the front of the cleaner.

Good luck
