The front windscreen fans are not working and my local garage quoted 350 pounds to repair. I wondered could I fix it myself? They said the front windscreen fan motor has gone, is it easy to replace as I had a quote for 130 pounds for a new motor - massive difference!

get a copy of haynes manual for your car, full details in there, try a good scrappy for cheaper replacement motor.
