It workes when you first switch it on and heats up normaly. But after a while it stops and will only go again if you turn the timer control switch. Could it be because its in my shed and too cold? I'm out of ideas.

Thanks Andrew It is the timer.I called out an engineer.Problem is the timer costs half the prise of a new machine.Does anyone know where i can get one cheaper?

you might need a new timer, contact you appliance repair store, give make and model #, instructions for replacement should be included with new part. No the shed being cold should not affect the opperation of the dryer.Mine is in an uninsulated room that gets almost as cold as outside and it is not affected.
