It will be on you motherboard, if you have a seperate sound card. On some computers it's a chip on the motherboard, these cannot be upgraded. You can buy a soundcard to fit onto the motherboard if you have a slot free, but you have to enter the BIOS settings to disable the onboard soundchip.
