gs500e indicators not flashing ? - not the relay help please !?

hi , somebody help me please !
i have a 96 gs500e and the indicators have stopped flashing .
i have checked fuses , replaced the relays , replaced the indicator switch gear and indicators ,
they will flash when revved which i know that means theres not enough power getting to them ,
recently , my rev counter stopped working but still lights up ,and the light on my speedo has gone out , dont know if there anything to do with it ,
also i can hear a buzzing noise sometimes from near clocks ,
from what i can find on the internet it could be a bad earth but i have no idea where to look .
any advice would be much appreciated
thanks craig

Hi.you have replaced virtually all the components you needed to, so you should have working indicators, but you already suspect low power? what condition is the battery in? is it fully charged after a short run? is the electrolyte level correct?is it 2-3 years old & possibly on its way out.Are you getting a charge reading of around 14.3 volts at the battery terminals? (engine running) When you check the bulbs as ABD correctly suggests, check for corrosion inside each bulb holder as this area is also an important part of the electrical circuit, it has to be clean, dry & bright metal to metal contact. Then you can move on to check the condition of the wiring and the connector blocks, block connectors can be cleaned with a pointed swiss file & a fine spray of wd40 before re-connecting.

craig the relay has changed its values in time due to the capacitor inside it being at the end ofits life this happens to cdi units too just put a new relay on it with the same values as is written on the old one whcih should be 12volt 2x21watt 4x21watt on this model, also the rev counter is run from a cable in the rocker cover and if its stopped working the cable is most likley to be broken, the bulbs in the clocks do blow like any other bulb and will need replcing.make sure the new indicators have 12 volt 21 watt bulbs in them as they should have.
