How can I fix Poor Acceleration on My Toyota V6 1995 grande ?

My Toyota V6 Grande has to be pushed hard and the speed is not in line with the revs. The Auto trans has been serviced and is working fine. Can it be linked to split distributor cap or the ignition leads ? Any hint will help Thanks Luc
