Zanussi aquacycle 1200 xc wont start!!!?

Hi,
My Zanussi aquacycle 1200 xc wont start the cycle.
The on light comes on but it will not respond to any other buttons when they are pressed (there are no lights on the other buttons).
Has anyone got the answer????
