hi pete,just undo the bolts around the edge of the transmission cover where th kickstart lever is (leave the lever alone)then pull the case off no oil will come out,tehn you will see two round things the one on the left is the variator undo the nut in the middle using an impact gun or a variator holder and a socket then pull the outer half off and then the rest of it off you will see the sliding plate on the back of it lift that off and you will see the rollers inside it change them and replace it all use some loctite on the threads to stop it falling off and also do it up nice and tight,good luck with it pete.
