How easy is it to change a cdvalve (VLV 04070TER-OF) in a bristan cartridge?

Just woundering if it is an easy job to change one of these ceramic valves? My Shower head is dripping with no other problems, I can get the cartridge out no problem. Will I need to replace the seals? The cartridge is the bristan 06732COMPL.
