Hotpoint Aquarius dryer. Heating up ok, but only cold air coming out?

Hi
I have a Hotpoint Aquarius CTD00.

I'm not sure if this is an issue or not so I thought I'd ask

I have fitted new thermostats and heating element, the dryer heats up and dries clothes ok, but there is still only cold air coming out the fan at the front (heat can be felt around the sides of the dryer when touched).
Heating up but only cold air coming out. Is this correct?

Many thanks.

Thank you CK.

Yes it is a condenser dryer.

I think I understand…
Hot air flows from the drum through the condenser, thereby taking the water out the air and cooling it before extruding it out the front.

Is the right?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer.

if its a condenser dryer then no hot air as such is expelled so this would suggest it is OK to me.The vent at the front tends to be an air intake from your room!
