hi I have been given an old XR1 to go into my garage I have got new bell box door switches and PIR, I have been told to put a link between terminals 13 and 23 before power up, I have done this but cannot get into engineering mode when I put the code in the attack LED/power LED and day LED stay lit and cant programme anything, am I reseting properly or is the processor u/s any info would be greatfully recieved thanks mark.

Hey m8, I assume I can call you that as we seem to know what we are talking about.
It was a simple thing to overlook. Especially after dredging thru sad questions answered many times before. How many times do we ( Guess thats you Acorn and moi) say search then ask.
Even my parrot calls me a parrot the times I repeat myself. And I dont have a parrot............

I totally disagree with the previous comment. Throwing this in the bin will break various WEE regulations.
Sling it in the neighbours bin and avoid being fined by wayward greenpeace activists.
Then buy something worth protecting something in the garage you obviously wish to protect.
