How do you change (where is it) the thermostat in a 95 cavalier z24 (quad 4) I have no idea where it is and have been told its very easy to change.

I don`t know who told it was easy but its under the water pump
There is a metal pipe under rear exhaust you can trace to water pump and the therm is attached with 2 bolts at bottom
the pipe is attached to the trans housing
The water pump is part of the timing chain gear s
