When I try to change the time/ date on my sps1000 it gives a message does not have authority. The tills are connected to a PC in the office. I am trying to do this in Z mode. Is there a somewhere where a password has to be put in to be able to change the time.

It sounds like you may be logging on as an operator without access to programming. Try logging on with a code from someone senior in your business.
