you either dive like a lunatic or very fast.
The engine must heat up very quickly for the cooling fan to kick in.
It is normal for the cooling fan to run after the engine is switched off.
This is to ensure that the engine stays at optimal operating temperature.
Check your coolant level as it may be low.
