Baxi Combi80 Eco No pilot light, no heat or hot water?

HI All,

Think that this should be quick.

Baxi Combi80eoc. Everything appears and sounds to work. Switches on. Pumps activate on heating switch on and when water is demanded.

I don't think that the pilot flame is igniting the boiler.

I have identified 2 possilble faults but would like a point in the right direction.

There appears to be 2 cables running upto the pilot light.
1. There is a single wired connection (thick white cable) that comes from the cct board up to the pilot light window. If I remove the connection from the PCB and switch on there is no spark between the connection and pcb terminal when held in very close proximity. I thought I would see a spark for the ignition.

2. There is a 240v cable running to a small black 'honeywell' Ingitor lead assembly.

This has 240v going to it...... but I don't know what this item does. - presumably something to do with the ignition, but is that for the main gas or to light the system.

Please help???

I have also tried to suck and blow into what I thought was the air flow pipe. Not sure if that was genuine advice or not...
