My Dyson DC04 has lost suction in the hose, i have checked for blockages an?

I have lost suction in my DC04 dyson vacuum, the hose is not picking up anymore the upright position works fine but the hose wont, i have taken it apart and there is no blockage, i would like to know have a missed something

hi sam, i had this problem to, you'll find that cleaning the filter should solve the problem. In the top compartment theres a picture of a filter where you push the button and take it out, wash the sponge in warm water and the plastic part of the filter to it will be coverered in a white dust which stops suction eventually. Make sure it is completely dry before putting back in. The bottom half will still pick up because the turbo brush will pick up dirt and dust without suction. hope this helps.
