why do my brakes keep sticking on?

My brakes keep sticking on full on my car until I release the pressure in the braking system. What is wrong with them and how do I fix them?

faulty servo!!

has it got a cross shaft to servo ,have known these to sieze when operated in salty atmosphere, how do you release pressure- does it release if you pull pedal up ,if so then it will be pedal fault such as above or may be pedal return spring broken/faulty?but yet again no mention of make/model etc....[they are all different]

firstly you havent given any details on your motor,is it calipers all round?drums at rear?make?model?it could be a number of things, faulty master cyl, seized calipers, have had faulty brake hoses causing seizure, does your motor have pressure reduction valves to the rear?is it seized on each corner?it is difficult to determine without any more info

sound like it could be the return seal in the master cylinder or the caliper slides are corroded and jamming
