i had cambelt changed on my 1994 cavalier envoy when it had a full service, the bloke who serviced it said it needed a drive belt because it was cracked, is there such a thing as a drive belt on my car. thanks

i didnt know they made a 1.6 envoy is it petrol or diesel iv got cavalier 1.7 envoy TD the only belt i can think they mean is the what was called the fan belt but because now there all fitted with electric fan its not called a fan belt any more all the belt does now is drive the alternater now i believe

If the cam belt was changed then look at the fan belt.
