I've just had a similar problem with my Leisure Profile Plus...the electronic timer thingie mysteriously changed to and stuck itself on Auto (I've never cooked on Auto) and none of the little buttons would work, so although the rest of the cooker will work...the oven won't. I think my cooker is too old to get a replacement electronic timer, so that coupled with the fact that they also don't make cookers now with the same width, my problem was looking seriously expensive to resolve in that not only would I need a new cooker but I might have to possibly change the kitchen to fit around it!

However...I discovered the little buttons on the timer come out completely. So I used a cocktail stick to poke about inside the holes where the buttons go till the Auto mode light disappeared and the cooker went back to manual. And my oven works again as before. So fingers crossed.

So a cocktail stick has saved me having to spend a load of money. Give it a try.
