zanussi zt695 dishwasher not draining away?

i have a zanussi zt695. it keeps stopping half way through the cycle when no water has drained away. any suggestions as to the cause?

impellor stripped on circ pump will also cause no drain.to test this hold the drain hose over a bucket and keep dropping the drain hose down until water comes out.if water comes out at a low drain hose hight then stripped impellor might be the issue

Try it on a different cycle and see if it drains away.
It might be the pump (suggest a rinse and hold cycle that normally does not involve heating) - like this you check the pump out.
OR
If it does not dran away it might be a printed circuit board fault eg water is not reaching temperature and cycle will not continue till water temperature is achieved. This might also suggest faulty heating element.
