drayton(iflo) wireless +rf rf603?

I have just purchase one of these and have questions answered on DIYNOT site but am interested in the Live, nuetral and common connections in the receiver.

My present room stat has 240 volts from the CH-on at the programmer via the airing cupboard box

I have decided to link the live and common in the RF603 receiver to emulate the old stat situation
I believe this will work as the feed from the room stat, old and new is to the mid-position value which works from 240 volts.

I note in an answer on this site that the receiver converts the 240 volts to less, 24volts?
will my linking the live and common work for me.

if I don't get a contradiction I will try it watch this space

Thr receiver terminals are voltage free, they don't convert any voltages.
Linking L & C should be fine.
