acer aspire 5535 fault can you help plz?

it powers up but the screen will not come on, when powering up you can hear the cooling fan come on and go quick but then the noise just drops,(although it does continue) the power remains on at all times but no screen , i think i just have a fault on the screen can anyone point me in the right direction please

This laptop was working fine when I switched it off. The following day, it powered up, fan running, but a blank screen. So I can't select anything to check the operation.

i have the same issue and its not the screen as this was only replaced a couple of months ago. From researching the net, seems it maybe a graphics card issue. Mine failed 2 weeks after the 1 year guarantee :( Staying away from Acer in future...
