How can I fix my Veritas 8 C?

The alarm has been working ok since I fitted it 3 years ago. It still works perfecly when set on FULL. When set on PART if activated the internal siren works and the external strobe flashes but the siren does not go off. Can anyone explain why and how to fix it please.

truth to be told mate,i havent a clue,we dont use veritas stuff,ripped loads out,but dont fit them,all i can suggest is if you have the engineering instructions is to reset the panel back to factory settings,then reprogramme it,sorry i cant be of more help.

To be honest Ive mislaid everything including instructions. Ive downloaded new instuctions and you are right on 01 option 2 its internal sounder only but cant fathom how to alter program to operate external siren.

it depends on how the panel was programmed,it can be programmed for internal sounder only on part set,check your records,i take it that you have kept a record of the programming?
