I have a 2.5 vauhall Omega automatic gearbox?

Ive got a vauhall Omega 2.5 automatic gears and the gearstick is starting to stick in park position after the engine is running, could anyone please advise on the cause/fault ?

Its nothing to do with oil level. Check brake switch is working properly as the shift interlock may not be releasing.
