Central Locking not working on 2001 Ford Focus?

The central locking works using the key from passenger side (will lock and unlock all dors), when used in the drivers side it will only lock/unlock the drivers door. The remote is not working at all, i have tried reprogramming it and i can get the car to get to 'learn mode' but cant get them to link up. I have checked fuse 63 and that is fine. Thanks for any help

still no luck, I think the contacts on the remote may be damaged as there is no response from the car after following the instructions. Thanks very much anyway though

your model is on a change for remote programing 1 turn ign from pos 1 to 2 (4 times in 6 secs ) leave in poss 1 then press any button and hold it till immobilizer light flashes then done other is same but turn ign off then press button till flashes (remember if ultrasonics fitted you will need to lock front seatbelts in and close all doors and windows to stop conflicting echo
