Where is the battery located?

The LED panel says bF(Battery fault) , where is the battery located to change it?

Also inside the big pretty box containing the battery is 240VOLTS OF KILLING AMPERAGE, so do be carefulif you have no idea of isolation.

Actullay the french have seen to it we have 230, rather like our aircraft carriers, they are erroding them :S

just a word of warning before you open the end station to replace the battery,you may need the engineering code to reset the panel,if its been programmed tamper engineer reset.

the battery is in the main control panel not the keypad. It will have an AH rating. Change like for like
Remove lid on panel
enter code to silens
change battery - observing polarity of leads
refit
close lid
enter code and reset
Dispose of battery carefully - comes under COSHH regs
