How can I repair a Broken halogen hob?

I have a SCHOTT CERAN ceramic hob and the front halogen burner (one of 2) has given up. The hob is 23 years old.

faulty ceramic hot plate or wiring or regulator switch.hob glass will have to be lifted to find out fault.around £100 bracket fitted by someone assuming they are still available at 23 yrs old!!!!
