Potterton 60e No Pilote Light?

Potterton 60e failed to ignite, so have followed the fault finder path in manual - also spoken to Potterton (waste of time!).
Have replaced, Pressure Switch, PCB Electronic Contral and after speaking to Potterton the Gas Control Value - have ignitation spark, but fails to supply pilote light! Any pointers, please.

Peter, you’re correct I’m not Gas Safe, stood watching two engineers who are (who did the work). I am however a qualified electrician of many years and know the rules.

Funny thing is that the following day I shut the boiler power down, restarted the boiler according to the manual, after about ten or so ignition sparks, it fired up.

Have tried calling my engineers, who seem to be not picking up, quite embarrassing for them!

If I have the ignition coil changed, could this suggest that the new gas inlet value could have been a waste of time? Thanks
