No hot water from Aqualisa Quartz Electric Shower?

Recently I have had to turn the heating dial full to hot in order to get the shower heater to kck in. This procedure no longer works and I just get a full strong flow of freezing water no matter where the dial is set. Help!

I had exactly the same problem from a 9.5 kw quartz electric shower. I rang Aqualisa and they advised changing the engine, Apparently these are sealed units and components cannot be changed individually. The cost was £111.00 inc vat. Only 3 months out of warranty, my dilemma was either to change the engine or buy a new shower at £180.00 (best price on the net). A friend of a friend worked for Aqualisa and got me an engine for no charge (long story)... fitted it myself in about 30 mins. Its working fine now only problem, the blue led light at the on/off switch is not lighting up. Another call to Aqualisa in the morning!!!

I have exactly the same problem. I've tried a new control unit in the shower but still no joy. Did you ever resolve your problem?
