How can I stop the clock!!?

The clock/timer on a Belling 640SS MK2 is just whizzing round and round through all the numbers at a very fast speed and cannot be stopped! Can anyone help please?

the button must be stuck in.possibly with grease.pull the buttons up and see if it stops
