How can I fix LG TDC70045E tumble dryer?

The clean filter indicator keeps cutting in and dryer stops operating. I have cleaned the filters to no avail. I have even tried resetting using the little red button -again to no avail. I would appreciate help from those who know what is wrong. Many thanks

have you cleaned the filter internally? I had the same problem for ages until I realised you have to pull forward the little door at the front, unlock the filter there, pull it out the large internal filter (careful as you get excess water on the floor) and then rinse it under the tap to get all the stuff out of the filter. Then mine worked perfectly. Sorry if you have already done this, it just took me a while to work out that cleaning the filter was not just wiping down the internal door and the front tray!

the probable cause is the front airstat also known as front ntc is faulty. it senses the air temperature passing it. if the temperature decreases at this sensor, the machine thinks the filter is blocked. i have had the same problem which took comet engineers 6 months, 2 new circuit boards at £210 and a new pump at £60 to find out the problem. the stat will cost about £17 to buy. hope this helps.(the emphasis is on prabable as this is not a guaranteed solution)
