How do we fit a new rubber door seal to the bottom of the door of a Miele G643 dishwasher. Currently having a problem removing the fascia door too - before we even start on the seal

This is a very useful tip. I had a cockroach infestation between the metal of the MIele dishwasher and the wooden cover. There were four embedded screws that you need a 6-pointed star screwdriver to open. After loosening the screws, the door popped right off.

There are 2 imbedded screws at the sides of the door which hold the decor panel on. They don't come out, only loosen/tighten. Don't force them. The upper ones are for removing the panel, the lower ones for adjusting.
The bottom door seal is a pain !
Don't attemp it unless you have time & patience.
It is usually done from the inside of the machine without having to remove the door. It is held in by 4 short screws which attach to a thin retainer bar. Remove 2 screws at a time & pull the old seal half out & slip the new one half in. Then remove the other 2 to remove the rest of the old seal & fit the rest of the new one.
