it does not empty the water out. checked filter and cleaned it checked waste pipe

Had similar problem. Turned out to be the front panel controls. Put on drain/spin program, switched on, pressed start. Nothing happened. Then pressed the "no spin" button. Started immediately, but on "no spin". Pressed "no spin" again so that it would spin. It carried on OK, emptied and spun. Bingo.
