i fitted the belt around the drum and the shaft but it is abour 2" loose. i wonder if i fitted it wrong. which is the shaft? maybe i should call an engineer.......
with you not putting model details its hard to tell you exactly other than to say its the wrong belt or there is a tensioner wheel somewhere that is ment to press against the belt and apply tension, taking up the slack!
