Bosch WKF2801 Will not complete cycle. It?

It stops with a few minutes to go and appears unsure whether to drain or spin/rinse.

Could be the timer - expensive and complicated to replace

If there is still water inside the drum and the machine has completely stopped it may be that the pump is faulty/damaged and the impeller is not rotating to expel the water out or that there are debris (e.g socks, shoe laces, coins) within the pump chamber and which prevents the impeller from rotating. With poor or no water drainage occuring the water remains too high to trigger the presure switch to continue the cycle.

You have to ensure that the machine is able to completely empty the water out as expected at various stages of the cycle.

Check the chamber by unscrewing it's cover, usually situated at the bottom of your machine on the front panel.Make sure you scoop ou the water out the drum first and once you have done that sfaely tilt the machine back as far as possible (but not to the point where it would rests on it's back or could fall backward and hurt you.

If that is clear then it could be the motor is gone on the pump. You will need a test meter to measure the continuity on the motor.

There could also be a pressure system blockage.
