how can i stop my batteries going flat in a ford transit?

I have a G reg ford transit 16 seat(well it did have) minibus. It has two batteries but if the vehicle is not used for a couple of weeks the batteries go flat(worse in the winter i can only leave it a couple of days). What is causing this? how can I stop it happening

Sounds like a paricitic drain on system .........if you have alot of aftermarket stuff on it like tv`s ect it might be too much
if drain can`t be found get a battery helper which will keep battery up to par

Sounds like something is draining the battery, has it had an aftermarket alarm system fitted or anything like that?
