status 315 aerial?

can u help ? how do u split this aerial into two bits so i can gain acess to the co axial cable to rework it

Hi Frank,Taken from the Status booklet.
First you unscrew the pointed pinnacle[this should only be tightened by hand].and is an integral part of the aerial. Loosen the two grub screws near the base with an allen key.Lift off the dome whilst carefully feeding out the coaxial cable.
