Light on a 53 plate Corsa?

Every so often i have a small light appear on the dashboard, its the outline of a car with a spanner in the middle of it.

Its not there everyday but about 1 a week. I switch the car off and on again and its cleared any idea what this is?

Car is a 53 Plate vauxhall corsa.

but has it been serviced,even if it has been if your garage does not reset the service light it will still flash

Its just had mot and been in garage for work on other items

Forgot to mention that there is no loss of power, there are not other noises/sounds and it only seems to happen early in the mornings.
After the car has been switched back on again its running fine.
