Accent G3 tamper lockout?

Can anyone help, i've got a accenta g3 alarm and the other day i took one of the PIR sensors off the wall and set the tamper off, i put my 4 digit code in the key pad and silenced it, carried on with the job then fitted the PIR back up but when i went back to the key pad the tamper light was on but nothing would work, the chime still works when the door opens and the panic alarm works but after i reset it it goes back to the tamper light and nothing works, the fuses in the panel seem ok and the battery seems ok anyone got any ideas ?

some pirs have a small spring on the tamper switch, check this is still in place, they have been known to spring off,(pardon the pun)

Global tamper..........6 wires but one pair twisted and choc blocked.

Have you screwed through the wire? - If the wire is buried in the plasterwork it is possible.
Has a tamper wire become disconnected in the sensor - especially if the wire has pulled when the sensor was removed.
Is there a "short" between the tamper wire and any of the other wires? There should be 6 wires, all in their own terminals.

I've tried that a few times but still the same, the light on the sensor works ok when it detects movement. i only unscrewed it from the wall then put it back and replaced the cover carefully.

Could be more, does this not have a global tamper?
Ahh just checked it has!

OP, did you write down all the colours and put back the same? Assuming you totally disconnected it.
Otherwise my internet aquaitence of good standing would be correct.

Refit the detector cover, carefully
