My McCulloch Tivoli 45 has been in storage since March this year and now won't start. I've added new mixture at 40:1 as stated on the machine but nothing.

2 strokes tend to oil up in storage.Take out the plug and clean.pour a small amount of fuel in cylinder and turn over a few pulls. check plug gap is about 25 thou and replace.Check fuel you are using is fresh and clean, should start, if not take out pug and couple up to lead, fix outer of plug to engine metal work( string?) and pull start it, any spark? if not, magneto U/S
