how can i stop f1 keep flashing on new Glow-worm flexicom 30cx?

new Glow-worm flexicom 30cx fitted, f1 keeps coming up on display, boiler keeps trying to ignite but only runs for short time, then locks out again.

The previous answer is spot on. I have just had this problem with a 30cxi. The condensate pipe on mine runs to a proper ceramic soak-away as the boiler is installed in my basement, and the soak-away and pipe were frozen solid so the water just backed up into the boiler. I got out my girlfriends hairdryer to defrost the pipe, and now I have it just leading to a bucket until the weather warms up.

If the weather is freezing, your condensate pipe is probably frozen. Unplug the condensate drain and drain into a bucket and the boiler should light. I had this problem with my Glow Worm 15HX and am leaving it dripping into a bucket until the weather warms up. If your condensate pipe isn't frozen, the condensate trap inside the boiler probably needs emptying. Again, I had this problem with my 1 year old boiler which I bought to avoid boiler breakdowns!!
