immobiliser's are put on the car for 2 reasons.
1) to stop toe-rags from nicking it
2) to make lots of money for the main dealers as they charge an obcene amount to fix them. due to the way its wired into the car.
but in answer to your question, try an auto sparks to see if they can help.
