Hotpoint Aquarius CTD00 - water not collecting in bottle?

We have a hotpoint condensing tumble dryer, and all of a sudden the water is no longer collecting in the bottle, but in the compartment the bottle sits in. The water then leaks out onto the floor. Any ideas? Thanks.
