my beko washing machine aa class 1200rpm started making a funny sound this morning, have managed to empty it

set it going with nothing in on a rinse and spin cycle to check if it made the noise again and it was now froze.

start light and spin/end light are permanently on and it won't let me cancel the program

press and hold the start button in for 5 seconds.
any luck?
switch machine off with on/off switch
select 95deg cotton program
press the start button in
keep start button pressed and turn the machine on with the on/off switch.
press the start button again several times and then switch off machine with on/off switch.
switch on and try select a new program
before doing the above remove the filter and shine a torch in to the filter housing.at the back is the drain pump impellor.check if something is jammed in it
