my vauxhal astra won't set off ? 52 reg?

Very frosty this moning, warmed up the car, then put it in first geat to set off relesed the handbrake but the car wouldn't move. Noticed the handbrake had gone really slack - any link!

maybe h/brake cable/rear brakes frozen on,if it is on the flat,leave in gear overnight and you wont have the same problem
