1.8 Vectra cam sensor fault light?

How can I fix my engine management fault light (cam sensor) code 0340,coming on intermitantly.
Skitey, July 2006
By replacing the cam sensor.
Remove the cover that covers the spark plugs then you will see a wire with a multi plug which plugs onto your cam sensor. Remove the drivers side wheel and remove the cover that allows you to see the bottom end of the engine through the wheel arch. Take the tention off the fan belt and remove the cover that covers the cam belt. There is 1 bolt that holds the cam sensor on and you should clearly see how to take it out. Put everything back and your engine mangement light will go out and everything will be fine again.
Kind Regards.
