Hotpoint Aquaries WMF740 programme dial faulty?

The programme dial will not change the programmes and is now stuck on one programme, although the dial turns, albeit a little stiffly, the programme codes do not change. Can anyone assist me please. I have had the maching for approx. 14 months now.
