does the excel 1200 require the filter to be cleaned and if yes, how do you take the filter out?

your dispenser hose which goes from the dispenser to the tub is blocked with hard soap powder, try hot water in the dispenser. if that does not clear it take the top panel off unplug machine under the dispenser tray you will find hose that goes to tub squesse the hose until clear.
