Dyer keeps tripping 220 breaker?

I have a Whirlpool Dyer Model LER4634EQ2. I replaced the heating element 1.5 months ago. The dyer has performed great until last week. It keeps tripping the 220 breaker. I have been told that the heating element probably is causing grd. to trip breaker. I have checked the element wiring and have found no grd. wire. The dyer will run hot for 5 minutes then will trip the breaker and continue to only run the motor. Suggestions?

If it's shutting down on the heating side,
you A: have a faulty breaker
B: have a problem in the heating function.
C: have a short in the wire to the heating element.
UNPLUG, then check the wire to the element for
chafed insulation, burnt spade fitting, etc.
Don't R&R this with automotive or house wire.
Buy a length of armored woven wire for dryers
Also, shouldn't your dryer shut down totally when it pops a breaker?
